We are a locally-owned tour company offering guided kayak and canoe adventures throughout Georgia’s most scenic waterways— from serene lakes to hidden waterfalls and majestic cypress swamps.

We offer three types of guided paddling adventures:

Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Not at all! We provide all paddling equipment including kayaks, canoes, paddles, and life jackets. Just bring yourself and get ready for an adventure!
What skill do I need to join a tour?
Our tours are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned explorers. We’ll guide you every step of the way!
How many people can join a tour?
We keep our groups intimate with a maximum of 4 people per tour. We also offer private group bookings for a more personalized experience. If you are interested in a private tour please contact us at info@driftwoodpaddling.com or call us at 770-383-1035
Are there age restrictions?
Yes, we only accept children aged 12 and up for safety reasons.
Where do your tours take place?
We operate through the scenic waterways of North Georgia, including Lake Acworth/Lake Allatoona and Olde Rope Mill taking you through tranquil lakes, lush forests, and to hidden waterfalls.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority! If weather conditions are unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule your tour. We do not cancel tours for light rain.
Do you provide transport to the launch sites?
No, transportation to launch sites is not included. Once you book, we will provide you with clear directions and instructions for meeting us at the starting point.

There is a specific place I want to paddle, but I don’t see it offered. Do you do personalized tours?
YES! If you have a place you would love to paddle that we do not currently offer, we would love to make your dream a reality. Contact us at info@driftwoodpaddling.com and we can help to create a paddling package just for you and your party!
